Sean and I have three fur babies; one Chihuahua named Lilly and two Boxers named Robin and Gatsby. Let me introduce you to the leader of the pack [non-human because we will pull a Cesar Millan alpha dog on them if need be
]
This is Lilly. She was our first dog and enjoys being a bit of a diva. She’s 11 now but plays, rough houses and cuddles like a pup. She loves to take care of her pack by giving lots of kisses and hugs when ever you need them. She prefers to be our lumbar support in the computer room but we’ve tried to get her on board with the idea of a co-captain chair. She’s warming up to it.

Lilly loves getting her picture taken anywhere but really digs the studio. In addition to having her picture taken she loves treats, bones and car rides…especially when any kind of drive thru is involved. She’s a bit of a show off but really just loves to make people smile. We knew Lilly was a bit of a diva and thought having a sister would help that out. We looked for a great breed that wouldn’t care about a Chihuahua’s attitude and we decided on a Boxer.

This is Robin. She was born the same day we arrived in Arizona, August 1st 2005. Robin is our shy girl. Because she grew up with Lilly as her big sister, she thinks she’s a lap dog. She likes to clean up after her sister and brother and will lick their bowls to make sure they’re all clean. Robin loves to play Frisbee and is great at catching treats. She let’s Lilly be mean to her and plays sweet and gentle with her. She enjoys full on boxer playtime with her brother Gatsby but most of all Robin loves to sit or lay on the couch and watch TV. :)

In classic boxer style she is a very serious girl.

Check out that intensity!

This is Gatsby, the youngest member of our pack. He is the BEST! We were his foster parents before we adopted him (more on that here). He is soo sweet and loves everything and everyone. He loves his sisters. He prefers to hang out outside and we are thinking about giving him the nickname of pigpen because he likes to loosen the dirt and make a dirt bed for himself. He also enjoys sunbathing. He can’t wait for the next time he gets to go for a car ride or on a walk with the pack. He’s still fighting Valley Fever and takes his Fluconazole twice a day like a champ.

What a handsome boy. He’s a mere 49 lbs to Robin’s 72 lbs.

Gatsby has moves like Jagger but hasn’t quite gotten the concept of catch. (That treat totally bounced right off his nose.)

Yup, we get these looks on a daily basis. They’re tough to resist sometimes.

This is Robin giving Lilly her “don’t even think about it” face.

This is our “size doesn’t mean much in our house” photo. Lilly being a diva and Robin wondering why she has to be here and not on the couch.

Lilly wonders about Gatsby sometimes but in the end gives him love and cuddles galore.

Seriously, please comment and tell me if you didn’t laugh when you looked at this photo.

This is our rock band photo. You know, the one where the band member is looking somewhere else.

Aww! Thanks for stopping by. We send you virtual Chihuahua kisses and big Boxer hugs.
